  1. Derek i like your videos .. BUT .. you speaking slowly that increase the video time and in much details , we need to see something practical , i mean your settings at shooting time ..etc

  2. Love the shots you showed, very impressive. When shooting birds do you leave your flash on your camera? And if so how do you avoid steel eye? I always have to have mine on a frame about 20cm above my lens to avoid it as you would red eye. I'm asking because as a disabled man it can get very unwieldily for me. Also it seems ages since any of your videos have come up on my feed, I always enjoy seeing you, I think like myself, for you your wildlife and photography go hand in hand and both are equally important.

  3. Thanks Derek, another great video. I hope to head up to the Nongs next weekend.

  4. Firstly. congratulations for reaching 1000 subscribers. You have inspired me to try 'brush strokes'. I have tried it before and really loved it. I know what you mean about the birds becoming more active. I have also found that in Sunraysia.

  5. Wow! I never thought to use second curtain sync for nature shots but those images are gorgeous! I will have to try it sometime. Thanks for sharing!
